So...my sister was kind enough to volunteer to look after my girls while Jen and I went to Greg's wedding this weekend.
Putting aside the fact that when we came home Avery had a very swollen black eye (from a "bug bite" wink wink child protective services) i think she did a bang up job (ha...that's funny on so many levels)
CMP is the power company - they dont so much like Falling Ice - or Hail - or Thunderstorms in general - so when that all started i guess they just gave up and the power went out...slackers...
so now you have a woman with no kids taking care of 2 kids under three - at dinner time - with no way to actually cook any dinner - here's the really really scary part...she did exactly what i would have done - cold pasta. done.
i have to say - aside from the "dont take that kid in public unless you want to be arrested" eye Avery's sporting ("bug bite" why does benedryl not help? hnmmmm) - i call it a success - adam came up and we all hung out on sunday swimmin in the pool - it was great.
I bet she's got a better story than i do though =)

one of my favorite memories is when i came to henniker to take care of you 3 hooligans while your mom was sick in the hospital...that is when i learned that you can indeed eat cheerios with grape juice, and some people can indeed drink pickle juice
i will never forget that either, beermaker...i was so psyched that you actually let us drink the pickle juice...one of my favorite childhood memories!
i'm pretty sure the three of us got away with quite a bit...remember amy - its alway's Scott's turn to take the blame
yeah...if i recall it's his turn now.
As I recall, when I got home from the hospital Amy had very little hair where she once had bangs...
And, probably, Scott would still pour his grape juice into his milk and cereal if he still drank grape juice.
And, probably, all three of my kids still drink pickle juice.
It was memorable for everyone, but I, as usual, missed out on the fun.
But I have to say that it's been years, absolutely YEARS, since it has been Scott's fault.
